Let's stay positive and enjoy this great season
On my drive home from the Steelers game I was shocked by the negativity I heard on all of the talk radio stations. One bad game and everyone is ready to fire Romeo, cut Dawson, put Quinn in as starting QB, ect....
Damn, don't people realize that we still have a very good shot at a playoff spot and ten wins is a very realistic possibility? Talk about a pleasant suprise!
This team has far exceeded my expectations already this year and at the start of the season anyone that claims they had the Browns probably making the playoffs this year is either a liar or delusional.
I will say that Cleveland fans are not alone in their negativity. Listening to the Pittsburgh fans you would have thought they lost this game.

Re: Let's stay positive and enjoy this season
That's not to say I'm making excuses, but as you stated, I'd much rather analyze the negatives and look forward to the positives. And, if the positives don't come, we can proceed to call for the head of Romeo Crennel.

Re: Let's stay positive
For example:
An ignorant fan on a national talk radio show or amidst a crowd of educated fans is funny, because he makes a fool of himself.
An ignorant fan who transfers his stupid opinions to people who don't really pay attention to the sport ticks me off, because then if someone asks those people who don't pay attention about the team, the ignorance has spread.
Happened in one of my college courses back in September with the Indians. My teacher doesn't follow sports, but she asks how everyone's weekend was. Some girl said she went to an Indians game over the weekend. The teacher asked how it went, and the girl stated, "The Indians suck again. They lost."
The Indians had just ended about a four-game winning streak and were red-hot overall, but happened to lose this one game. After she said that, I could just tell that other people in the class who don't really follow the team took her ignorant statement as if she were a God of sports.
A little rant :)

Re: Let's stay positive
CUT PHIL DAWSON FOR MISSING A GAME WINNER!
I DON'T CARE WHERE WE DRAFTED EDWARDS (last year)...HE'S NOT GETTING IT DONE, SO CUT HIM!
Cutting players or firing coaches immediately after a game is the answer to everyone's problems on talk radio. Because after all; we can just find a starting linebacker, No. 1 receiver, and solid veteran kicker during the season on the waiver wire with ease :p
Just a mock of talk radio and/or some chat discussions :)
