Steinbach injured

Worst news of camp so far:

http://www.daytondailynews.com/s/content/oh/story/sports/pro/browns/2007/08/08/ddn080807browns.html

I think the PD's story said that he would likely miss two weeks.  That version also said that Lennie Friedman got most of the snaps with the first team at Left Guard.

Now we are really testing that depth on the O-Line.  Any significant time that Steinbach would miss would be devistating.  Even a week or two during preseason sucks because it takes time for a line to gel and work as a unit and Steinbach and Thomas have not got too much work together.

Re: Steinbach injured
Ugh.  Maybe in the end this will be for the best.  Steinbach is a veteran and might not need the extra reps during preseason.  Maybe this will strengthen the backups while simultaneously keeping Steinbach a little fresher come November/December.  Or maybe I'm just desperately looking for a positive Browns season.

Re: Steinbach injured
Why can't our offensive line be like the Colts of year's past, where no one gets injured at any period of time?
