Colts lose..HA!

San Diego 28, Indy 24. And with the Chargers minus LT and Rivers in the 4th quarter. I haven't been able to wipe this smile off my face all day.

The football gods are vicious...guess that's what they get for offering up zero effort to win that Titans game. Maybe they wouldn't have been so rusty, eh?

I love it when the universe balances out.

Re: Colts lose..HA!
I would join you in celebration if the Colts hadn't been my next favorite team (regardless of what happened). However, the Packers are my close No. 2 team, so there's still something to root for :D

Indy vs. NE has much better anticipation than SD vs. NE too.

Still, some of the irony in the game is funny.

-What if Marvin would've played in Week 17 and gotten used to being it?
-What if Manning had executed a two-minute drill against Tennessee?
-Etc...

0-3 after a bye in the playoffs for Dungy/Colts? Inexcusable.

Really, the Colts offence was that bad. The defence, on the other hand, was awful. And it was fun to watch. The Sproles screen was a fantastic play.
At least I wasn't born in Denver

Re: Colts lose..HA!
Seriously, I think the Colts got exactly what they deserved in this game, since they hadn't played an actual game for the last two weeks.  There is an obvious risk of injury to your front-line players by playing them, but there is also a serious risk to shutting down your team competitively before the end of the season.  With their official bye week and the second Dungy-inspired bye week, they had plenty of time to lose their timing and explosiveness, which is exactly what seemed to me to have taken place.  That's especially true for the defense, which never seemed to gel throughout the game.  Give the Chargers credit, to be sure, but for the defense to give up a game-winning drive to a team without their quarterback, all-pro running back, and all-pro tight end is absurd.  Indy gave away the game to Tennessee, and ended up giving away another one to San Diego.

Indy has not had a lot of success when resting their starters either. Last year, in their Super Bowl year, they played out the season and had to play a first-round playoff game.
