What is the update on our new corner? No major network has any amount of information on the trade or follow-up on his acclamation to the Browns' D. I didn't remember to look for him Monday, but I don't remember his name being called (not that he could've been ready anyway).
Also, the Bronco's blog site was throwing around all sorts of rumors as to why he was traded (certainly not a lack of talent). Have we figure out what the issue was?

I'm pretty sure
it was related to Ramadan or something. The Broncos didn’t want him to “starve himself” because he would lose strength/weight. Abdullah is Muslim.

I’ve not read any credible reporting indicating that he observes the fasting required of Muslims during Ramadan. From what I read on the Broncos blog, there wasn’t any credible reporting last year. I’m open to correction but it seems that this is an internet meme rather than an actual news story.
More likely, he was inactive for the Giants because he’d only been with the team a week and a half. I’d expect if he contributes, it will be in the second half of the season.

I thought he was released by the Broncos and picked up off waivers by the Browns, I don’t recall anything about a trade.

Yeah, it wasn’t a trade, we just signed him.
