How is Joe Jerovicius and when will he return?

We could make one heck of a run if we can get Joe back.  One other thing Jamal is not producing like he should and I think you have to look at getting the ball more to Jerome H..  Maybe that is just me but we need more consistancy at the RB position.  I liked to see the different things they did against the giants.  Cribbs could have looked a little more confident being the QB but that is something he can work on.  My guess is on the one play it was supposed to go deep but the coverage must have been good.  Are young corners have really improved and look good.  I think mainly because they are getting help from offense.  The Browns seem to keep it close in the first half and defense was getting tired.  With the offense present they seemed to be more fresh.  Good things come to those who wait!!!

You think giving Harrison, a guy who doesn’t run between the tackles like Lewis, more carries is going to provide more “consistancy” (sic)?

The corners have improved thanks to the offense?

Jerovicius (sic)?

Your time, and ours, is better spent here.

Enjoy your weekend!

legitimate LOL at this.

"Mixed emotions. Rather see him hit PEDroia [with that pitch]. I don’t care if he is in the dugout"

Regarding JJ: the team has not really provided updates on him, and he can only return by the next three weeks. If he doesn’t, he gets IR’ed. Chances are, it’ll be a decision that comes around the deadline window, possibly depending on if we get back into contention.

I don’t agree with the statement that Jamal Lewis is not producing as he should. Running backs can’t be unleashed if the passing game is completely inept; just take a look at how Larry Johnson’s numbers have been down the past few years.

We faced the Ravens and Steelers’ defenses back-to-back. They arguably have two of the league’s best run defenses. Lewis was solid against the Bengals, but what did they do when they realized Anderson still couldn’t throw? They jammed 8 in the box, stopping Lewis.

Against the Giants, Lewis was tremendous. A top-notch defense, with a successful passing game to go along with him, and he continuously moved the pile forward. Harrison not getting enough touches was a problem the first three games, but certainly not the past two games.

I don’t really understand what you mean by “our young corners look good, probably because they are getting help from offense”. Can you explain that?

Also, just some advice: try spacing out your thoughts into multiple lines next time. With several different topics crunched into one paragraph, it makes it a little tougher to follow.

Didn’t Grossi have an article last week, or perhaps over the bye, saying that JJ has probably played his last down of professional football? I remember reading that somewhere that his rehab was not going well at all and he was unlikely to return to the team.

Agreed about Lewis. He gets better as games and seasons go on and hasn’t had the passing game to help him out. He isn’t getting the ball 20-30 times per game and probably isn’t making his fantasy owners overly ecstatic, but he can still be the “finisher” we need for games in the snow. He had a couple of runs against the NYG where it took 4-6 guys to bring him down and he got key first downs. More Harrison as a change of pace: I don’t know if any Browns fan doesn’t want it. Lewis still has something left in the tank, and the passing game should be carrying our offense anyway.

Time of possession by the offense keeping the defense off of the field, maybe?

Judging by the Rotowire report, it looks like JJ is done.

Jerovicius was my big worry...

A thinking player who creates his space. We’re lucky he’s out. He’s always good for a few 20 yard 3rd and long catches.
