What's the deal with your Offense?
Your offense seems to be like the Brown’s, explosive on paper, but not really able to get it going. What do you attribute this to? Cutler seemed to be tearing it up at the beginning of the year, but now it seems he is throwing many more picks. Is this a symptom of him maturing still, the bronco’s throwing too much or something else?
ANSWER
Injuries. I know that excuse gets thrown out alot, but when a team doesn’t have a lot of depth in certain areas, injuries play a major roll. For the Broncos, they have bee without their starting TE and starting RB(Tony Scheffler and Selvin Young) the past several weeks. That has hurt the Broncos, who run an offense predicated on running the ball and having a threat at TE. Several other weapons have missed time as well, including Eddie Royal and Brandon Stokley. That has worked against Cutler and the offense maintaining any continuity.
As for Cutler specifically, I think he read a few too many of his own press clippings early on, but the problem is he just isn’t getting much help from the running game or the guys that need to step for those who are injured.

Is Jay Cutler going to find Marshall in the endzone, scoring me 12 fantasy points?
How can we get the guy who does the MHR University to come here and tell us what is going wrong with our team? (That section of your site rocks. Although, I wanted to comment on the section about “speed” because I think some of his information was incorrect and I couldn’t)
Am I glad I now live in Boulder so I will definitely get the Browns on TV?
How are our old linemen doing?
ANSWER
HT will be humbled that you complimented his work. As for commenting, you definitely should be able to. I don’t have any type of restrictions, you do have to “join” the site, just like all SBNation sites.
As for Cutler finding Marshall in the endzone, I certainly hope so. Marshall wasn’t very happy with how things turned out yesterday and I have a feeling Cutler will be looking for him.

How did Cutlers comment about having a stronger arm than Elway go over in Denver? Why did he make the comment anyway?
Oh The People You Meet When Your Out of Ammo.........
Ya know...
I ran a poll on MHR and had over 1000 responses. Overwhelmingly the feeling was they liked the kids confidence. Remember what the comment was – that he had a “stronger arm”. It wasn’t, “I am a better QB” or any of that. Personally, he might have a better arm from a pure strength standpoint. What we all know, however, is that being an elite QB in the NFL is alot more than arm strength. If it were Jeff George would be a Hall of Famer.
As to why he would say it, it’s simple. He was asked the question. One thing about Jay Cutler, he won’t beat around the bush…

With a new QB (very low miles) coming in for the Browns, do you think the Broncos will try to instill fear in him (hello, Ebenezer), or focus on the double-teams down the field?

Answer
The Broncos had one thing on their mind before the switch, and that hasn’t likely changed — stop the run. The Cavs have been stacking the box in order to stop the run. Because of that, the corners have been playing off in an effort to keep everything in front of them. I don’t think that changes with Quinn. They might try and send more pressure at times to see if Brady is ready with his Hot Reads and such, but the key to the game for the Broncos is still to stop Lewis and the Browns ground game.

How did the Broncos get torched by a free-agent, college walk-on for 11 catches on Sunday (Greg Camarillo)? The Broncos didn’t even seem to know his name.
No very different from the reson a rookie QB torched the Browns...
A defense the was way too soft in coverage, choosing to keep everything in front of them. Nothing is more frustrating than watching a defense struggle and NOT make adjustments….

I’m a huge Browns fan teaching in Billings, MT— a Broncos satellite. My students have been hounding me about this game for the last week. So, how am I going to remain a humble mentor to these kids after Brady Quinn mops the field with the Broncos defense?
DP
ANSWER
Hence the reason I think Teaching is the most underpaid profession in our country. If the Browns win, you can’t rub it in. If the Broncos win, you’ll never hear the end of it. That self control makes you a much better man than me!!

How much play do The Drive and The Fumble get in Denver? It seems we can’t go a week here without someone mentioning one of them. I’m inclined to blame the collective “woe is me” attitude of the Browns fan but maybe you all still treat them as a big deal as well.
ANSWER
As crushing as those moments were for Browns fans(I know, living in Cleveland) it was equally a defining moment in Denver, especilly The Drive because it really put John Elway on the map. That said, I think those moments ould be really big had the Broncos gone on to win the Super Bowl. Since they got crushed, fans usually don’t go back much further than the Back-to-Back teams in 97/98 when talking of the “glory days”. Those plays have become nothing more than journalistic fodder when the two teams meet.
It may also have something to do with the fact that these Browns aren’t really those Browns, if you know what I mean….
