Bleeding Brown and Pumpkin Orange

Here we are again, 3-6, high hopes dashed, expectations not met, and underperfomance is once again the norm.  As we watch this week after week, and we tear our hearts out with each first down the opposition gets, and root over-enthusiaticly for each one we gain, there is one constant, that this team lets us down.

If you are visting this site you are a Browns fan for life, and as much as you threaten never going back to games, or insist change, at the end of the day, you will be there for this team.  It is what makes us the best fans in the league, the loyalty that has been driven into our blood by Bernie Kosar, Jim Brown, Brian Sipe, Ozzie Newsome, Eric Metcalf, Michael Dean Perry, just to name a few.  We are Browns fans, and when the poise of Brady Quinn, and the heart of Josh Cribbs, and the drafts of Phil Savage lead us to consistent winning, we will be there stronger than ever. But once again we are left with a losing team, so keep rooting boys, because our time will come, even though it seems like it never will.

All we ask is the boys on the field keep giving there all, because we sure as fu*k are as fans.

Crushing loss

Brady did an awesome job despite the disappointing loss. Not retiring the jersey yet…

What were those cool ads with the people doing the cannon and bucking horse? That was cool. Will NFL Network do that the rest of the season?

Good Luck

Glad your positive. You mention Cribbs and Quinn, rosters are what 48 players? Looks like me need 46 more players with heart.
This team needs Bill Cowher, until then, get use to performances like last night. This team needs a head coach that will demand accountability, demand effort, and will take excuses.
This crap continues to go on year after year. Think about it, One year with Brian Sipe (R-88) Two years with Bernie, ( The Fumble and the Drive) That is all we got to show for since 1964 PERIOD. So keep on keeping on Browns.
Please Lerner I beg you to offer the job to Cowher, pay him ransom money, I don’t care, I just can’t stand watching this nonsense.

rosters are 53 active on gameday.

What is your man-crush on Cower about? He was a borderline-good coach till the steelers won that last Super Bowl, then everyone mystified him. He’s got a clinched jaw and he can yell, big deal.

Why him and not Spagnolo or any of the other young assitents out there, or hot college coaches who also yell and have clinched jaws?

OK I am sorry, 53 players so we need 51. So I take it you are happy with Romeo and his staff? How many coaches have won Super Bowls? How many AFC title games has Cowher been to? It has been what 20 years since the Browns made an AFC title game?
You joke about Cowher and his tight jaw, his yelling, well you know what the Steelers won and beat the Browns ass up and down the field twice a year and in the playoffs.
People got on Coughlin ass because he was a prick, he won a Super Bowl and made Jacksonville a winner. Jack Del Rio calls out his team captain for showboating on the field and sends his ass home. Football is a mans game, it is not team tennis. Players need to held accountable.
Thats fine go ahead and make fun and joke about my compassion about Bill Cowher, but I tell you what his teams wouldn’t give up17 points in the 4th quarter and lose twice to the Ravens and then in turn give up 228 yards in the 4th quarter, 21 points and lose to a team with a 4th string running back. Go ahead make fun, I had this team at 5-11 or 4-12 and you rode my ass earlier this year, keep it up.

Cower won’t rock the world but he’ll get you 10-6 and into the playoffs 2 out of 3 years. He knows the AFC like an old movie and would make himself at home. That’s worth 2 years of anyone elses contract. I hope you don’t get him.
