RUMOR: Daven Holly Suffers Injury
Barry McBride at the Orange and Brown Report has reported a potential injury on the Browns' roster. While the OBR has not been able to receive confirmation from the Cleveland Browns, another source has told them that cornerback Daven Holly suffered a knee injury during practice today.
The significance of this injury is not yet known (if an injury even occurred). I'll provide more details as they come along, but let's hope that this isn't true. Sure, Brandon McDonald seems capable of being a starter, but our depth after that is...non-existant. We might be forced at that point to cross our fingers and pray that Gary Baxter is in good enough shape to play the cornerback position again, rather than the safety position.

Anyone have Ty Law’s phone number? Maybe he would like o hook up with his old D-Coordinator.

I think Law is looking for too much money and my guess is that it’s highly unlikely we pursue him even without Holly now. Someone like Andre Dyson would be a more likely fit

It seems like the fifth time we’ve collectively suggested Law in the offseason so far. Now that we’re at a point where there aren’t ANY experienced cornerbacks on our roster beyond one year, we may finally see him.

Uh oh. I don’t know much about torn patella tendons and the comeback rate, but, as Cleveland fans, we know that holding out for Baxter is a shaky bet.
my helmet has, like, no pine tar on it.

If Holly goes down, we might as well overpay for Law because we are going to need a nickle.
