As first reported by the OBR, The Cleveland Browns waived three players today, presumably to make room for some of our draft picks who will be signed soon. The players that were released are:

WR Nate Hughes
LB Xavier Mitchell
CB Darnell Terrell

I never expected any of the three to make the roster, although Terrell had the highest hopes coming in considering our cornerback situation.

The team did sign a player too -- OG Derrick Morse -- to a contract. As the OBR reports, Morse was probably signed due to the release of OL LeCharles Bentley. By my count then, we should have three roster spots available.
