Browns Fantasy Depth Chart

Can Derek Anderson repeat his amazing breakout season? He leads a Browns offense with plenty of high-powered weapons. See how they rank in our fantasy depth chart summary.

CLEVELAND BROWNS
     FANTASY DEPTH CHART

Key:
PTR= Position Tier Rank. This is the tier level where the player should be slotted in drafts.
1 = Elite Player.
2 = Solid Performer
3 = Backend starter/Bench fill-in
4 = Roster filler or long-term prospect
0 = No value
ITR = In The Rotation
PB = Position Battle
S = Starter

QB                                     PTR
Derek Anderson - S              2
Brady Quinn                          4
Ken Dorsey                           0
Summary: Anderson had an incredible year, going from virtual unknown to fantasy star.  His breakout 29 TD season was awarded with a three year contract.  However, despite his high prodcution, he was also mistake prone, resulting in 19 INTs.  If the turnovers become rampant, Brady Quinn could quickly step in to run this offense, which is loaded with multiple weapons.  Make sure to handcuff Quinn if you draft Anderson.

RB                                     PTR
Jamal Lewis - S                    2
Jason Wright                        4
Jerome Harrison                   0
Summary:  Lewis had a big bounce-back season with 9 TDs and 1,304 yards for a very solid 4.4 average per carry.  Banged up a bit in mid-season, he was relatively healthy most of the way.  He might not repeat those stats, but there is really on other reliable backfield threat, so expect him to be the workhorse again.  He can be an excellent #2 RB and possibly your #1 if you miss out on the first tier of elite runners.  Wright will only have value if Lewis goes down for an extended period.
