Browns announce cuts
The second team to get at or close to 53 players on the active roster is the Cleveland Browns.
The guy most notably on the bubble, receiver Travis Wilson, didn’t make it.
Joining him on the outside looking in were tight end Brad Cieslak, defensive back A.J. Davis, receiver Efrem Hill, tight end Kolomona Kapanui, defensive back Travis Key, offensive lineman James Lee, receiver Lance Leggett, linebacker David McMillan, defensive back Brandon Mitchell, linebacker Chase Ortiz, offensive lineman Jonathan Palmer, defensive back Jereme Perry, defensive lienman Melila Purcell, kicker Jason Reda, receiver Steve Sanders, and linebacker Shantee Orr.
The Browns also waived-injured the following players: offensive lineman Derrick Morse, offensive lineman Marvin Philip, defensive lineman Chase Pittman, and running back Travis Thomas.
Offensive lineman Lennie Friedman was placed on injured reserve.

I hope we dont lose Lee to someone else. Glad to see the Issac Sowells experiment is taking up another roster spot. I guess he can get a holding penalty on a extra point attempt. Assuming he doesn’t false start. (I don’t like Sowells by the way. And the Issac Sowells experiment sounds like a band.)
Travis Wilson, great pick. We are talking Darrin Chiaverini levels here.
I hope that Cieslak is able to grab on somewhere.
And Jereme Perry, don’t go far and keep your cellphone on.
