Ravens get week off unexpectedly

PrintThe Ravens were supposed to play in Houston Sunday and then Monday.
Because Ike damaged the Reliant Stadium, the game has been postponed to November 9 and the Ravens will be well rested for the Browns next week.
To reschedule the game, they had to adjust Cincinnati's schedule too because they had been scheduled to play Houston November 9 and will now play them October 26. This week becomes Houston's and Baltimore's bye week and November 9 will be Cincinnati's bye week.

Not too thrilled, but...
…I guess the league had no other choice but to do this to all involved teams. Instead of having a well deserved rest after week nine, the Ravens get it now. While that might be good for their current walking wounded, it will be sorely missed come later in the season when they’d appreciate the break and rest.
At the same time, I guess that gives us a little more time to prepare to kick what will be your 0-2 butts, eh?
Just wanted to start the trash talking a little bit early. Bring it on, Dawg Pound!
