Injuries Injuries Injuries
It has been a rough road thus far for Browns fans with two tough matchups and two tough losses.
With the depleted defensive unit full of its injuries we now have to worry about the O-line. Hadnot is back but Steinbach hasn't practiced for a few days and may not be able to go at Baltimore.
Against that defense this is a nightmare! Our right side has already been taken advantage of this season as our strong point is that left side. Tucker may get the nod over at LG which could work out but the chemistry that Eric and Joe have established is going to be sorely missed with each week Steinbach misses.
I want a win, but against this Ravens team with a rookie qb, I want a big win. How nice would it be to quiet all the nay-sayers and the Bengal fans by throwing up a 21-0 creaming of a hated rival.
If Romeo wants to salvage anything at this point I hope he gets the team revved up.

Wait
Is it injuries or a lack of motivation?
Stike one and two.......
Its the econony front office stupid.

You are kidding if you think Phil Savage needs to go. I used to think you were just irrational. This is the closest thing we have had to a playoff roster since the team came back, and Savage is doing a great job piecing it together. Call for the unknown in Quinn, panic after two games and call for Romeo’s head, but Savage?
Do we have all the pieces? No. Does the product on the field look polished and impenetrable? No.
But if you rooted for Seattle, I doubt you’d be lauding Peterson and Tatupu for being “leaders” after they let San Fransisco score 33. SAN FRANSISCO. 33 points. That’s as many as we have given up all season….TO SAN FRANSISCO.
Oh, and yes, I did just imply that you lack intelligence by using the word “just” right before “irrational”.
In case you missed it.
Ahhh. I see...... the pyschogist is in. Read into my words what you will sir, but after what I have seen
in the last two games I am feeling free to vent my rath on the entire organization.
And what a wrath it is!!! Hell hath no fury like words written on the internet.
It would be more like psychiatrist, because at this point I think you need pills, not therapy.
Don't look now but
that “closest thing to a playoff roster” Phil has developed just lost to a rookie Division II QB and is now 0-3. It would be nice if you took off your rose-colored glasses and saw his record for what it is…..mediorce at best.
Oh The People You Meet When Your Out of Ammo.........
Not once did I mention Savage leaving town!!
All of my comments have been focused on Romeo and the bad bad linebackers. I like Phil and he has done a marvelous job thus far.
I just think Romeo is a Coordinator.. not a head coach.
I think the Browns would be better served running a 4-3 because our Linebackers are absolutely terrible.
And I also think we can and WILL destroy the Ravens today… We have too.
I was talking more to Jboy, who used the term “front office”. I apologize.
Agree:
Romeo has done a terrible job with simple things like clock management and his team does not appear as motivated as in the past.
Romeo has had much more success as a D coordinator
Phil has built and will continue to build a great roster
We will beat the birds today
We need help at LB
Disagree:
We would be better off running a 4-3
Who are you talking to and what “big word” are you talking about?

If Steinbach can’t go, I will be watching the left side of that line very closely. I am wondering how much that chemistry has helped Joe Thomas out. So far, he has effectively neutralized some of the best in the NFL: Ware, Mario Williams, whoever Seattle and NE threw at him last year…I am also looking forward to watching him and Freeney go at it. I love Tucker and hope he will be back soon. I am not sold on Hadnot starting.
21-0 sounds great to me, but I think it will be closer than that.
It’s official, Steinbach is out. He didn’t even make the trip to Baltimore.

0-3 and a DISGRACE !!!
Why I get so pumped up each year I will never know……….
Same thing every year. I guess can attribute last year’s fluke (yes, I said fluke) to the minimal numbers of injuries the club experienced,…..
Because that is the ONLY difference to this year………… Ranked 30th in total offense.
Are you kidding me?
The sad part is we CANNOT bench Anderson for Quinn because that destroys all trade value for Anderson for this offseason. Granted he is not helping himself by playing poorly, but we can surely kiss a 1st round pick good bye if DA is benched……………….
