Is there a reason why we couldn't put together a similar game plan using Lewis and Harrison? Our two most effective plays this year have been screens to Harrison yet our coaching staff simply refuses to add more screens to the game plan.
At the moment, this team appears lost. Seems to me the best thing we could do would be to slow down the game and commit to the run. This would give our defense a break and allow our offensive line a chance to do what linemen love best.... run block. We simply have to establish the run to take the pressure off of Anderson (or Quinn if it comes to that) and the recievers.
Making Harrison more of a focus in the passing game (especially on 3rd down) just seems like common sense to me. Even with the issues Braylon Edwards has had catching the ball he still commands attention as does K2. One would think Harrison should usually end up being covered by a linebacker or safety and Harrison should win this matchup most of the time.
Don't give me the line that Harrison is too small to play more snaps.... Last night I watched Darren Sproles shred the Jets and he's like 5'1 115 lbs....
