Sizing up this weekend's matchup at Cincy
Hello dawgsbynature fans,
Here is our take on how things will pan out this Sunday afternoon.
CLE @ CIN
Our Line: Cleveland by 2
This is almost always a tough matchup to analyze, made especially so with both teams being 0-3 coming into the matchup. Normally the home team has the advantage here, but the numbers are seeing a different story. To say Cleveland has had problems on offense is an understatement at best, but our system also sees that they have played Dallas, Pittsburgh, and Baltimore to start the season. Not exactly the best opportunity for your offense to shine. We think Cleveland will be able to run the ball effectively against Cincinnati, which will open up the offense for them, especially in the second half. If you think we are underestimating Cincinnati too much, don't. They played their best football last week and still couldn't pull off the victory. It won't be easy, but Cleveland should pick up its first win this week.
ITN Ranking:
-Cleveland #28
-Cincinnati #29

Not clear on how you see the Browns favored though… “but the numbers are seeing a different story” Really?
I’ve been beta testing what seems to be an excellent system and thought I’d share my results. The reason the Browns have struggled has little to do with coaching, qb, defense or lack of production from skill players but instead the problem appears to be the lunar phases which seem to occur every month for as long as recorded history. Since the Browns seem to loose every year I don’t think it’s just a coincidence. In fact over the last 3 games there has been a waxing moon, full moon and waning moon, Sunday’s game will be close to a new moon. Based on the result of my system I predicted the Browns would loose by 18, 4 & 18 over the first three games.
This week using even more precise calculations based on game time, type of moon, elevation, price of oil, and passer rating of the starting QB over the last 9 games, the system predicts the Browns will loose by 8 point with DA as the starting QB. The system also shows them winning by 3 points if Quinn where to start. I’ve tried calling the Browns but Mr. Crennel will not return my phone calls. I was able to get through to a gentle man by the name of James Brown, who promised said he would discuss it on a radio station early in the week.
Look forward to hearing the story from the what the seeing numbers say next week and how it compares to the lunar assessment algorithm. I’ve been able to run the lunar assessment algorithm and the results are nearly 100% accurate in predicting the Browns will not loose during week 5 of this season.

I’m familiar with this lunar modeling and have worked with its creator extensively. We are abandoning this approach and moving on to solar flare activity. Our initial findings are quite hopeful. It seems that the crux of our football future centers around our center, Hank Fraley. We were somewhat guarded by this discovery, but proceeded on to tackle other facets of this problem. In the end, we found that by turning this corner, we found ourselves back facing the nose of all issues. For a more in depth explanation of our findings, you may wish to read our published article the October issue of Browns’ Gazette entitled “Paul, Jim or Buster, Which Brown Fits?”.

I believe that when the moon is in the seventh house and Jupiter aligns with Mars that peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars.

Did not see the solar flare activity in my initial findings but a quick google search on “Why the Browns Suck in 08” confirms your findings. It appears someone has leaked your article to the media prior to the October release. If we could figure out what the common link between you and Chud is then maybe we could find out who leaked our Offensive Playbook? Maybe it was Cooley? But I’ll let someone else investigate that.

Not a bad idea and will incorporate into my next revision… Magic 8 Ball “Will Romeo make the right decision and put Quinn in the game?” 8-Ball “No Magic here”
Appreciate the confidence in the Browns

Shit, and I was just flipping a coin....
