Wonder if Barton would follow Mangini to Cleveland?

Crowder, Bart Scott, Farrior, Eric Barton in that order

Scott, Crowder and I think Quentin Moses would be worth a flyer depending on the price.

Thanks, I really don’t know much about him anymore.

I do love the word anymore, apparently.

Mangenius let him go with the Jets because of his bad fit for the 3-4

what’s the story w/ these kids McGinest and Davis…
Farrior has been pretty beasty in Pitt, but i feel like he’s getting old, no? i guess i don’t quite know enough about many of these guys to have an educated opinion about how they’d fit in a mangina defense…but i do know that Channing Crowder is looks extremely scary, which i believe is a very important quality in a LB.

Crowder stepped in to the middle of Miami’s new 3-4 defense this year and played well. The only downside is that he didn’t make many big plays. Only 6 TFL and 1 FF.
He is still young and talented. Depending on his price tag he would be a nice option for the Browns.

Farrior has been great for Pitt. He also got re-signed for a few more years, this list is slightly outdated.

Farrior is easily the best player on that list.
Farrior, Scott, Crowder (D’Qell the 2nd).
Fairly weak list. We need immediate draft help.

Profootballtalk is reporting that Julius Peppers wants to play in the 3-4. He might not be a bad fit with us. I’m not sure if he would play end or linebacker but nonetheless he is a playmaker.

He could probably do a little of both. Justin Smith was considered a poor fit for the 3-4 but worked pretty well for the 49ers this year. As well as anything worked for the 49ers. You have to wonder if we would have what it takes to get Peppers, though.
