Who needs reality shows when we've got the NFL?
It’ll be really interesting to see how this all shakes out. We’ve been following the Browns and rooting for them since we lost Romeo Crennel to your team, and as Pats fans we’ll always love Willie McGinnest no matter where he plays.
On top of everything you took down the mighty Giants for us too in the regular season, which makes the Browns a team that can do no wrong in our eyes.
Good luck with Mangini. As much as I don’t like the guy, I believe he got railroaded with the Favre situation in New York. No one player, especially a transplant, should ever be bigger than the team and its head coach.
Keep the faith!

Hey, my first choice no, but he is the Browns coach and I hope to hell he gets this team moving in the right direction.
Possible rumors from the Plain Dealer has Romeo staying on as D. coordinator??
I just want this team to be a playoff type team every year for a long time.

The PD said Crennel and Mangini discussed the possibility of him staying on as coordinator but they both came to the conclusion that it wouldn’t be a good situation. The rumor is that Mangini is going to bring his QB coach from the Jets to be offensive coordinator and Rob Ryan from the Raiders is coming to be defensive coordinator.

Rob Ryan as DC appears to be official. Brian Daboll as OC doesn’t appear official, but likely. Both coaches had their contracts expire with their previous teams, so they are free to sign with any team, at any time.

After the 2006 season, I figured he was a genius. 2007 he looked like a bum and this year, after week 11 he looked like a Coach of The Year candidate.
I am cautiously optimistic.
As for keeping Crennel around… why? Because of the great respect the players have for him?
