Practice Squad Transaction: Peerman Gone, WR Signed

After being on and off the Browns' roster, whether it be the final roster or the practice squad, RB Cedric Peerman was once again waived from the team's practice squad.

Taking his spot is WR Darnell Jenkins, a 5-10, 191 pound receiver from the University of Miami. Jenkins has been on the Texans' practice squad the past two seasons and was just waived on October 22.

In case you're curious, former Browns safety Bret Lockett has recorded five tackles for the New England Patriots this season.

A majority of us thought Lockett would perform well for someone else. And while 5 doesn’t seem well, he’s an UDFA who was thought to be a prac. squad player. 5 is being productive.

And if things can’t get any worse, The Cavs are 0 – 2. They were my scapegoat too.

Don’t be worried about the Cavs. They have a few new guys in some key positions. Lebron, though he is the best in the league, he is difficult to play with. Players don’t really want to piss him off. Give it one or two, though I believe Minnesota will be their first blowout victim, they will get that chemistry going . When that happens ……….

yeah, i wouldn’t worry about the cavs too much. there’s still 80 games left. i was freaking out a little bit last night, but i’ve calmed down since lol. they’re going to make the playoffs and have a good run.

the media loves it, though: “the cavs are 0-2! lebron’s going to toronto!”

It’s almost impossible to miss the playoffs in the NBA.

Signing another wide receiver is not going to make Anderson’s poor passes better to catch.

Hard for me to conjure up more than a shrug at this news.

Does anyone know which players are on the P-squad now. I know we have at least one new TE on there

by TheRealSlimShady on Oct 29, 2009 6:26 PM EDT reply actions

Schaefering, Leggett… That’s all I got.

by SpecialBrownie on Oct 29, 2009 8:10 PM EDT up reply actions

Leggett is a Patriot.

by golanbatrac on Oct 29, 2009 9:10 PM EDT up reply actions

Nevermind. Lockett, of course.

by golanbatrac on Oct 29, 2009 9:11 PM EDT up reply actions

We got rid of Leggett a while ago.

I think we might have Titus Brown and Marcus Bernard though

by TheRealSlimShady on Oct 30, 2009 5:00 PM EDT up reply actions

No, I thought we still kept Leggett. I thought we kept Brown but lost Bernard.

Someone could take the time to look it up…
