MKC is reporting that Dawson and D'Qwell are both doubtful for Sunday. Lewis, Womack, Hadnot and Adams are questionable.

The interesting part, at least to me, was that Phil Dawson has not been seen around Berea for weeks. I know the guy is a kicker, but shouldn't he be getting some sort of treatment at the facility (Spare the Staph jokes.) After all the guy is a captain. I wonder if he is really hurt, or maybe making an in season sit down for his new contract.

From what I know about Dawson I believe he is actually hurt. Since he is one of the captains, I can not see him missing practice for no reason.

Not too worried about Dawson. I am not sure what kind of calf injury he has, but I would think he could get treatment at any number of places.

I know Bobby Carpenter didn’t do his PT at the OSU facilities because he had a guy who had worked with him in high school and preferred to work with him. Could be a similar situation. And, he’s a kicker.

I am excited to see Veikune get some extended PT this week, but not excited that it came at DQ’s expense. Especially on a week where we have a good shot at getting our first W.
