Hire mooncamping!

Hire mooncamping as GM.  Query me here.

I can general manage the Cleveland Browns from this site.  I´m willing to involve anyone who makes sense.  We´ll put questions regarding the franchise´s future out as fan posts.  We´ll have proper discussions, and try to ascertain the public opinion.  Any topic is feasible.  All we need to do is get finality on our decisions.  How about it?

You may apply as aides here.  Well, as soon as I´m hired that is.  Serious inquiries count as applications.

strange that you want to involve anyone who makes sense when you, yourself make little to no sense 99% of the time. i’m actually a little ashamed that i’m commenting here.

I can general manage the Cleveland Browns from this site.

You can’t generally manage your own thoughts.

I’m not sure how you’ll be able to run a football team.

You are reading my signature.

I love how you were gone for like a month and all of sudden spread like a pimple breakout.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen a post rec’d and flagged. I don’t know if normal members can see it, but Dorn’s post has the “Green Thumb” but the post is tinted red instead of green.

I am sorry if I offended anyone. It was a South Park reference, and if it is in poor taste, feel free to delete.

It’s still all green to me.

Seriously though, Moon. If you want to be GM, you need to clearly lay out your vision for the team. What kind of offensive philosophy, defensive philosophy, the types of players you would try and acquire, who you would hire as coach, who you are looking at drafting next year. Depending on this information, I may sign up to be an aid.

by Roger Dorn on Nov 3, 2009 1:20 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

you are heartless. toying with someone that clearly isn’t right. how do you sleep at night?

by Dawg Nuts on Nov 3, 2009 1:23 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

You’re really having fun with him, aren’t you Dorn?

by Buckeye Brad on Nov 3, 2009 1:31 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Truthfully, I really have learned to enjoy his ideas or humor or whatever it is. It is a nice sideshow to the crazy mess of the Browns. I don’t intend to be patronizing, so I will work on that.

by Roger Dorn on Nov 3, 2009 1:35 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I’m actually interested in his views as well.

Can’t be any worse than this mess that is taking place in reality.

by gahnki on Nov 3, 2009 3:10 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I’d love to read the “Mooncamping for GM” position papers myself….

by RelapsingDawgCatcher on Nov 3, 2009 11:58 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Sure it can’t get much worse. How do I apply to be an aide?

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 3, 2009 4:40 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

I’ve said for a long time that I want to be hired as coach of the Browns (although G.M. would be fine, too). Heck, I would even be willing to be pre-fired, and just collect the $5 mil or so they typically pay their failed coaches. I would happily guarantee that I wouldn’t accept a position with any other NFL franchise for the duration of my contract. By pre-firing me, they wouldn’t have to wait until I completely screwed up the position, and could just move right on to the next moron who’s willing to take the job. If you think about it, that would be a much cleaner procedure than the one they’ve been following. The idea could even catch on. Grossi could write “The Browns announced a surprise coaching hire today, drjeo. In order to save time, confusion, and consternation, they also immediately fired him and his entire staff, which he had not yet named. Randy Lerner is reportedly disappointed that the hiring/firing process took an entire hour, saying that the Browns front office personnel need to do a much more thorough job identifying pre-failed candidates in order to ensure continuing orderly chaos.”

by drjeo on Nov 3, 2009 5:15 PM EST up reply actions   1 recs

I would let him be my fullbacks coach

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 3, 2009 5:45 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I must be drunk off my ass to think to myself, “Is hiring mooncamping worse than what we have now?”

by Bernie19Kosar on Nov 3, 2009 6:08 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

agreed. An army of fullbacks could have actually managed as many first downs as we’ve seen so far this season. And it would probably be more entertaining.

by L Train on Nov 3, 2009 7:57 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

At the very least he has vision and a plan

You guys can take Jerry angelo off the Bears hands please i beg you!!!!!!!! steal him !!!!! he will make your team better (laughs) man i hate that guy……

by bears rock on Nov 3, 2009 6:21 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Hey Moon,

If you only had the players that are on our roster right now, and you were forced to start Mack at center (even though he is a faux Center), what would your starting lineup for offense and defense look like?

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 3, 2009 8:52 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

Camping just state an opinion that Brady Quinn is a beast and you can start your own cult.

Is that all it takes? Hmmm….

by BradyQuinnisBroken on Nov 4, 2009 8:05 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

This multiple account thing stopped being funny quite awhile ago.

by Simmsinns on Nov 4, 2009 8:23 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

That is not me!

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 4, 2009 9:15 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I wouldn’t make an account insulting my favorite player.

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 4, 2009 9:18 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I know, I know. I was thinking it was “Steelerstyle” trying to make some kind of stupid joke using another account, mocking your old one.

by Simmsinns on Nov 5, 2009 11:23 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

That is not me! I swear. You can even ask Chris if you don’t believe me.

I didn’t do anything

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 5, 2009 12:23 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Am I right in assuming its “steelerstyle” ?

by Simmsinns on Nov 5, 2009 11:27 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

What I am mocking is last years 4-8 record because the last four games were played by the third string QB and didn’t count.

by steelerstyle on Nov 5, 2009 4:27 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I gather that´s unanimous then.
Thank you very much for your trust and endorsements.
I gratefully accept the position.

I have reconsidered the aide thing, and have decided I will have to make some hard decisions on my own, before I can involve anyone else. Your opinions will count towards the decision making processes though. So stay tuned.

by mooncamping on Nov 4, 2009 8:15 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

I think it is only unanimous if you hire some aides, and answer my other question

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 4, 2009 5:28 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

OK, so during commercial of the WS game I thought I would just take a look at the UFL game. When I switced over, guess who I saw making tackles; Leon Williams. It sure would be nice to have him right now

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 4, 2009 9:18 PM EST reply actions   0 recs

What channel???

by SpecialBrownie on Nov 4, 2009 9:22 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

vs.

Steve Sanders was also on the same team. He looked awful though

by TheRealSlimShady on Nov 4, 2009 9:53 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

If you have Dish what’s the number?

I don’t know if I have the channel in general.

by SpecialBrownie on Nov 4, 2009 10:07 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Nevermind, found it.

Florida has one four games and clinched a spot to the championship game.

If only the NFL ran UFL standards…

by SpecialBrownie on Nov 4, 2009 10:09 PM EST up reply actions   0 recs

I´m sorry if my aide offer was misleading. In the corporate jungle I can not afford to have associates vulnerable to mismanage our endeavor. I have to lay out a singular vision for the future of the franchise, and thus can not delegate responsibilities, yet.
The singular vision will however be an amalgamation of fan affinities, so keep up the good work.

by mooncamping on Nov 5, 2009 9:33 AM EST reply actions   0 recs

your regime will be good for the economy, as it will provide jobs to a ton of people who are currently out of work. unfortunately for us, those people will be our players.

by Dawg Nuts on Nov 5, 2009 11:15 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Haha, true. So many washed-up linebackers and fullbacks would be put back to work.

by Buckeye Brad on Nov 5, 2009 11:55 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

Don´t worry, they´ll get pro contracts, sizable enough to support the cap.
And don´t call my players names.

by mooncamping on Nov 5, 2009 11:57 AM EST up reply actions   0 recs

apparently you also hired an out of work graphic designer to come up with your new logo. jobs for everyone!
