Tedy Bruschi defends Eric Mangini; Dilfer blames Lerner
I'm not usually a Dilfer fan, but the little bit attributed to him doesn't seem so far off base. Unfortunately I missed the actual broadcast and haven't been able to find it anywhere.

Regardless, he did see the disfunction of the Browns leadership first hand. And what he said about Lerner listening to fans, well I don’t know if that is because of recent events, but he seems to have that right on the nose. But maybe Lerner realizes that the fans put the money in his pocket. To keep them happy means to keep his bank account happy. Not too many owners care about the fans who pay the players.
I said I liked him as an analyst.

Trent Diler is, and will always be a douche bag.
He is still pissed off because the Browns and the Browns fans wanted to play Charlie Frye over him. Every chance he gets he trashes the Browns, Lerner and the fans.

He may be, but that doesn’t make him wrong about the dysfunction going on with the Browns.
