It’s really not that different, and I think it looks “cleaner”.

It was crappy at one point, but they ended up cleaning it up, using better fonts and re centering.

It’s almost like the original, just with more use of white.

Site looks more like a “news site” with the improved set up, and less like a message board, which I think is the correct progress to make.

The day the changes the made, all 200+ bloggers had a chance to hit hard on what the concerns were with the updated layout based on our own opinion and what the communities were telling us. As mentioned above, the change to a better font was definitely a top priority. There were a lot of complains about there being too much white space, so we’ll see if anything additional is done about that.
