Maybe Randy Lerner would like to buy those tickets, and seat people he deems beneficial to a good club culture in the future. The fans are excited, it would be an interesting atmosphere. I think, when a television company buys seats, it´s sending the wrong message. There are fans aplenty, and we are optimistic we can continue to support an NFL franchise in the future. Empty seats, and I don´t mean the ones vacated by the strike, are not good for a town, that has lost a franchise before.

I like this idea. I’d only go to a game this season if it were free.

You are right. I could see Lerner buying the seats.

Randy Lerner buys them tomorrow, on Veterans’ Day, gives them away to local veterans. Anyone who’s been to any Browns game in person knows the Lerner family’s fondness towards our military.

And giving them to people who will sit in them during kickoff.
