DBN Fantasy Football Semi-Finals Round

Last week, I had a post on this site about round one of the Dawgs By Nature Fantasy Football Playoffs. With myself and Roger Dorn having Bye weeks, we each sat back and awaited our opponents.

The matchups were the following:

• Overlord1976 (#4) vs. LesFleursDuMal (#5)
  The winner is Overlord1976, who defeated his opponent by a score of 122-114. Overlord1976 was propelled by big games from WR Andre Johnson and RB Ryan Grant. While LesFleursDuMal scored a ton of points, you have to wonder if he'll regret having started QB Philip Rivers over QB Matt Schaub. Ultimately, that would've been the difference between moving on and going home.
• Bernie19Kosar (#3) vs. kjc (#6)
  The winner is Bernie19Kosar, who defeated his opponent by a score of 95-91. The Chris Johnson factor certainly came into play, giving Bernie19Kosar 35 fantasy points with his production against the Rams. kjc was down 95-68 after Sunday, and things looked pretty dismal with only RB Frank Gore left to play on his roster. Gore certainly made it interesting by racking up 23 fantasy points, but kjc was still five points short of victory and will be headed home for the season.

I was pretty fortunate to have the first round bye, because my team would have by far had its worse game of the season (I would've had 48 points only, largely thanks to the struggles of Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald).

The semi-final matches are now set though, and here they are:

• Chris Pokorny (#1) vs. Overlord1976 (#4)
• Roger Dorn (#2) vs. Bernie19Kosar (#3)
