How much would you give up for...
LB Ernie Sims, DE DeWayne White, and LT Jeff Backus? I am asking mainly about draft picks, but players could work too. I tried this trade on Madden 10, and got the 2nd overall pick, and the 2nd pick of the 3rd round. Is this realistic? Or would you give up more? If you want stats, Sims got over 100 tackles in '06, '07, and '08, but was injured a bit this year. White had 5 sacks in both '07 and '08, but has been injured this year. Backus has started at LT for every game since he was drafted in '01. And he could probably start at guard for you.

What the hell, I’m bored.
No freaking way. I like Sims, but he has been injured some this season. As for White and Backus, I wouldn’t give up any picks for them because of age and money.
But Madden and the real world have very little in common.
In other words, 3rd or 4th for Sims and pass on the rest.
No thanks on White or Backus. Neither are any good. Maybe a 3rd for sims.

I’ll trade you Derek Anderson for your copy of Madden 10.

Act now and we might throw in Womack and St. Claire

A loyal Ernie Sims as a 3-4 outside linebacker for years to come is very very valuable.
His weight in gold? Maybe a few gems to top it off? In short, it would be a dream come true to line him up outside.
It is not likely that Jeff Backus would start with us, but sure we would take him off your hands because he´s a wily veteran.
Dewayne White looks like a tough Defensive End, but as you may know, we are 3-4 acolytes, and we´re looking for burlier types on the ends. He looks like a type the Broncos might like.
I don´t know why you´re offering a package, but Ernie Sims heck yeah! If it takes a package to get a deal done, keep knitting away. We have a lot of draft picks in 2010 as you may know, keep chipping away at it.
Don’t listen to this guy. He literally thinks he is the GM of our franchise.

Actually, I think that’s the sort of inspired lunacy that makes him worth listening to.

Hated? Just because I found a joke at your expense funny doesn’t mean that I hate you. I don’t hate anyone.

6'0" 225 lbs...
OLB in a 3-4? I don’t know about that. Are you sure he has the size?

Listen. I´m getting tired of your subterfuge and fraudulent assertions regarding prototype size for outside linebackers.
He has perfect size, proportions and mass to impact power ratio for an outside linebacker.
The hybrid (take on blocks, sack the quarterback, overpower the runningback…and quaintly leaving off the requirements of speed, mobility, cornering ability, zone coverage skills) you´ve been ordering, truthfully how many prospects have been able to fulfill those requirements. It´s a failed experiment, face it.
The prime requisites for a traditional outside linebacker still are speed, agility, footwork, aggression and the proverbial knack. Lets see James Harrison or Demarcus Ware live up to those expectations.
