Pro Bowl 2009 Open Thread - Go Browns
Despite having a losing record this year, the Browns are sending three players to the Pro Bowl:
- LT Joe Thomas
- DT Shaun Rogers
- LS Ryan Pontbriand
You should see Pontbriand on special teams more often as a tackler too. Rogers is not scheduled to be a starter, but should see plenty of action with the second unit. This is the official thread for the 2009 Pro Bowl; post any comments about the game in this thread.

Pretty down game for Joe Thomas. He gave up a sack while up against Julius Peppers early on when Peyton Manning was under center. When Kerry Collins was under center, Thomas got beat by Jared Allen. Allen stripped Collins of the ball, the NFC recovered, and they scored on their next offensive play.
Shaun Rogers had a few pressures, and I believe I saw Pontbriand in on a special teams tackle or two.

Discipline will get more pro bowlers next year
I think 5 pro bowlers next year. More discipline, less demanding schedule.
