I would love if we could get Selvin. I think he averaged 5 ypc last year.

Mangini also doesn’t like injuries.
Although, I had heard the phrase “zone running game” used in connection to what our offensive system will be. If we aren’t running at least a few stretch/inside zone plays, I don’t know how much use Selvin would be to us.
I am all for using any amount Randy Lerner’s money if it could potentially help the Browns, though.
Does anyone know what his contract looked like with Denver?

2007: $285,000
2008: $370,000
He was due to make in 2009: $460,000

If we sign him;
Best Case Scenario: He ends up being the running back we needed and gives us many 100 yard games.
Worst Case Scenario: He gets hurt and we end up with Lewis, Harrison, and Davis(which is what we have as of now)
Likely Scenario: He would start and give us multiple 100 yd games and would be a solid to above average starter
I dont see what we would have to lose
