What do you want to see me do?
DBN Faithful,
I am looking for something to contribute to DBN. I have thought about the following projects:
- Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of our division rivals and designing plays to attack each
- Breaking down film of players on our roster (their strengths and weaknesses, etc.)
- Explaining the 46 defense that Rob Ryan and Eric Mangini want to implement
- Breaking down 2008 film, showing what did or did not work well for us
- Reviewing the film of the Jets vs. Broncos game from 2008, including several current Browns players and Eric Mangini's offensive and defensive schemes
- An explanation of more general or fundamental football terms/concepts: What do people mean when they say a DB has "good hips"? How does a QB read a defense? What is "zone blocking"?
So, what do you want to see?

This, and any other schemes that our coaches want to use and how our players fit that. But anything you do is awesome and educational for me so I’ll take whatever.

Looks like that’s what rufio went with first, considering it had the most votes.

design a play against our rivals for me, followed closely by breakdown film of our players (mostly the negatives, to curb some of my natural homerism)

This and the strength/weakness assessment would make me a pretty happy camper.

I think I’ve found his history.
The previous team he rooted for was the Broncos (see the reactions):

But then, he made a shocking conversion to being a Browns fan:

And here he is.

It should be included in the terms and conditions when you sign up. “Do not associate, reply, or perform any other action that would provide mooncamping a reason to post a comment.” Just an idea.

Well, if you read those threads that Chris provided, he will apparently switch team affiliations in a few months

I totally forgot about that. Hopefully we can pawn him / her / it off to another team.

Oh, I thought it would be rexx, bal hawk, and mooncamping

I figured people would vote a lot for that option, not only our division rivals’ fans.
I probably would, if only for the minute comedic value.

If you can find tape of that—or any tape of Oakland—no problem.

I wouldn’t mind seeing you do a triple Axel back-flip.
Not as bad as you think....

I like the idea of looking at some of the Jets tape. I’d like to know more about some fo the players we picked up and what kind of game/clock management we can expect from Mangini.

Unless Mangini calls timeouts in pregame, he has to be better than Romeo.
