(I) Don't like what's happening in Cleveland, and not just with the 0-2 record. There's a bad vibe that a lot of people are sending out. I don't see .500 this year, and next year's too far away to even think about. So much can change before then. But this year looks like it could be another one of those long years. Brady Quinn looks rattled in the pocket, the offensive line looks leaky, the defense is giving up too many big plays and it has the ingredients for another disappointing year. But do not despair. There is some good news: The Cavaliers should be tremendous.

Well, that’s insightful. Someone got paid actual money to write this?

I could write something like this in 5 minutes, and even lose the jackass tone to it. Where’s my check?

Well this sounds about right. The problem is that Mangini can be a big jerk if the team plays well. However, cleveland doesnt run the football very well. They need at least 2 more recievers. They make too many mental mistakes. They dont throw the ball downfield which allows defenses to press the line. They get very little pass protection. And I dont think that we really know that Brady Quinn is the man. This team really misses K2. Im not sure how most people feel, but Im not that upset about the defense. They really need to sustain drives on O. 3/14 isnt going to be enough to get anything done.
The only thing that I dont agree about is that the Cavs are going to make me feel better about the Browns. When the Browns suck, everything sucks.

1. Maybe this sort of thing is why Francies dropped to the 6th.
2. I f*&^^g love Shaun Rogers. I can just picture him grabbing Francies nonchalantly by the shirt, picking him up with Francies flailing, and carrying him calmly out the door.
3. I also f*&^%ng love Rob Ryan. He is still pushing his defense and I bet he’s hungry for some wins.

I’m taking the side of the rookie here. It’s way too late to be doing rookie pranks still. This is time for football. Get the pranks out of the way in training camp.
