I believe that DA gives us the best chance to win now and that Quinn is an unknown who may be able to use this season to make strides along the learning curve, although after watching Ryan, Sanchez, Flacco, and Roethlisberger, I'm less convinced than most that the modern era young QB needs years to learn the NFL game. As these 3 weeks have progressed, it seems that one of 2 things is true: either BQ is not an NFL caliber QB or this coaching staff and its offensive system is systematically flawed, making Quinn a hapless victim of circumstance. Would BQ be able to run the Steelers, Ravens, Falcons, or Jets offense?
On a week to week basis, it's difficult to watch a team that is lacking at key positions (RB, OLB in a 3-4, and offensive coordinator), but I suppose this question could also be called, "What is the goal of this season?" Is the goal to win or something else? Your thoughtful responses are appreciated.
