DBN Shoops (Week 7)
Issue #1

Welcome to DBN Shoops (Week 7)! Just a quick introduction, DBN Shoops is a new weekly fanshot Photoshop contest. Here's how it will work: shortly after the the NFL games, I'll fanshot my edit, as seen above, of a photo picked from the previous weeks games. I'll also link to the original below.

Then anyone in the community can make their own edit, upload it, and post it as a comment here. The one with the most recs will be the winner for that week. At the end of the season I'll tally up who had the most wins and whip them up a nice shiny trophy, in photoshop! You can use whatever program you'd like, even MSpaint. Entries can be humorous or just awesome, but be sure to keep it all work safe.

Since it's the first issue, and we want to see as many entries as we can, if you have a really good idea for a different picture, we'll allow other photos to be edited as well, as long as they are from Week 7. Still, using the Bowens photo above is highly encouraged.
This weeks contest will end when Issue #2 is posted for Week 8.

Lastly, I'll include a breakdown of my "shoop" in a comment below if you're curious as to what I did.

Bowens: Touch for Good Luck, click for full size!

At first I thought this might seem like a rehash with the Joe Thomas one floating around, but I went for it anyway. If your new to photoshop, basically what I did here was cut out Bowens from the original photo, then went on to matte out Adam from the painting. After a bit of touching up, I just combined the two then added a Poster Edges filter to the whole thing so it blended a well together a bit more.

I was wondering whether, I should be eligible for the contest? Well, I’ll leave it up to you guys. Rec this comment to vote for my edit.

Why’s he a “Saints’ kid”? He’s at a Browns game wearing a Browns t-shirt and a Browns hat in his profile picture. He also set his “fan of” to the Cleveland Browns, and has only commented on Dawgs by Nature.

Based on the information, I’m inferring that he’s a Browns fan. Unless you mean something else?
