I didn't think this was possible, but I guess I have to count my blessings this isn't the kind of rant that's being heard in Cleveland, or anywhere else for that matter. Wow!

I should add that I don’t blame him either. The Redskins are a garbage franchise that hands out money to old players like it is going out of style.

It would make my stomach turn to watch my favorite team sign people like DeAngelo Hall and have them perform like that. Ugh.

We know, per Rex Ryan, why Cleveland would not sign DeAngelo Hall:

Last night’s Hard Knocks showed Ryan berating Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall after a late hit on LaDainian Tomlinson after a long run. Ryan tells Hall he should have made the play around the line of scrimmage.

"You aren’t gonna tackle anybody!" Ryan said. "That’s why my brother got rid of your ass!"

(Rob Ryan was Hall’s defensive coordinator in Oakland.)

Here is the play I think he is talking about with Haynesworth “doing the worm” or something.

He just lays there for a while thinking about his 100 million.

I agree. However, after looking at it some more, I actually think he falls to the ground so easily (and stays there) to try and draw an illegal block in the back flag. You can actually see Eagles center #77 Mike McGlynn push him in the back. That’s definitely the shove that sent him to the ground. Then he turns his head with a hand motion we often see players do, like “Where’s the flag?!” Despite all this, with a play live like that, you can’t just casual work your way back to your feet giving Vick all kinds of time.

Also, I don’t think it’s a penalty because the block from McGlynn was not below the waist.

Wow Simms,

That’s sad! You know in a Rob Ryan defense that kind of play on the field would have them sitting the bench…or worse. All that money and the guy doesn’t even put in the hustle to fight after the ball. What a waste! Joe Theisman and John Riggins should bitch slap the entire roster for making their proud franchise a joke.
