Randy Moss to Titans, Shawne Merriman to Bills
Has there ever been a "midseason waiver market" such as this week's in NFL history? The Titans claimed Randy Moss with the No. 22 claim, meaning 21 teams (including the Browns) passed up on him. The Titans have a bye this week, so it fits them even better to get Moss almost two weeks to prepare for their offense. The Bills had the first waiver wire position and decided to claim Shawne Merriman right away.

Not to say that you are wrong, but where did you read that Britt is out for the season?
All I have seen is that he will be out for some time. I have been under the assumption that he will be back in 3-4 weeks.

On fantasy football news on ESPN it said the day of his injury it was long term and maybe season ending. I assumed wrong.
I just wanted to double check before I dropped him.

Randy Moss & Adrian Peterson
Randy Moss & Chris Johnson
Well, the guy couldn’t have asked to be paired with a better group of running backs over the past couple of weeks. QB Kerry Collins on the bench has some experience with Moss too I believe.

I for one am glad the Browns didn’t go after either of them. The only Browns I have truely known are the 1999-present Browns. This is the first time that I have felt like we are turning the corner. We’ve got solid leadership in the front office and our coaches now seem to have a real plan week-in and week-out (aside from Daboll from time to time).
We have a great group of guys, as far as personality and attitude, and the desired results are beginning to come, as we see improvement each week. The last thing the Browns need now is a guy who is going to come in and cause problems. We do desperately need some talented WR’s, but not if it means bringing in Randy Moss.
You didn’t think we turned the corner in the 2007 season (or whichever one it was that we went 10-6)?
Other than that 1 season, I’m with you.
2007 I hoped, but I didn’t have much faith because of what happened in 2002. Warning, do not go back and look at the play by play by that game. It’s very depressing.
They gone have to stop sleeping on me one day.. I gotta be one of the best

In 2007 the Brownies had the NFC west and other playdoh (remember the 9000 passing yards by Anderson in the first nati game, and the 9000 interceptions in the second), As for signing moss… I wonder… with all of the Super Bowl victories douchnozzles like moss, owens, c. johnson, etc have accumilated I don’t understand why teams are not tossing top dollar at talent like that.

teams dont want the headache
Moss isn’t a team player. When things don’t go his way he starts pouting and begins to act childish and then you end up with an Albert Haynesworth. For example, when he played with Oakland. Like Simmsinns said, Moss plays when Moss wants.

feels like this has to be sarcasm, right? since the number of SB victories those douchenozzles have posted is a big fat goose egg.

I didn’t say anything because I assumed it was very well placed sarcasm.
