Browns Interest in Sam Bradford is Growing?
Definitely have mixed thoughts about this, but if Holmgren thought he was the man, I'd be pretty excited about him. Also, even if I were positive this was the right move, I am not sure he would fall to us either. Maybe we could trade BQ and a late around pick to get up two or three spots to grab him.

As I said in the other thread, I am starting to like this option. I think at the moment I would still prefer Berry or Haden.
Berry, definitely. Haden? Not completely sold on, though I agree that it makes sense.
As I said, if Holmgren is sold on Bradford, I’d be pretty excited about getting him. The only question is whether we could get him — I don’t see him lasting to our pick.

Is everyone forgetting in what division we play in? It is run-first, smash mouth defense division. The Browns lost games because we couldn’t stop anybody. Add a corner to go with Eric Wright and we can shutdown the pass.(Haden) Get a big running back, Gerhart or Dixon in the third round. Maybe best available safety or de/lb in the 2nd.

…Because clearly with Palmer, Flacco and Rothlisberger, the other teams in the division clearly lean on the run. And Gerhart will be gone in the second.

The Bengals were definitely a run-first team this year as were the Ravens and both were quite successful because of it. The Steelers were more pass happy than I can ever remember, and seemed to have one of their worst teams in a long time. How much of this can be attributed to run-first versus pass-first is debateable, but rushing offenses in this division have historically succeeded.

I dont see this happening Holgrem is a smart guy he knows that BQ hasnt had enough time to fairly grade him he knows that are receviers where a joke and are secondary was pathetic. It doesnt matter who we have a QB if we dont improve our WRs. Anyone who really watches the games close can see are guys blanketed by there corners. We need to improve alot more before we improve QB
