Browns lose two free agents
Per Schefter, former Browns starting safety Brodney Pool has signed a one year, 1.3 million dollar deal with the New York Jets.
Per John Clayton, Rex Hadnot has signed with the Arizona Cardinals, details not released as of yet.
I don't think anyone here was expecting either one to return, so I wish them well, unless they play us. I think I speak for all of us when I say we wish Brodney the best with his concussion issues.

If you're at the table and you don't see a sucker..... you're it.
Hey guys, just checking in to ask your opinion.
Watched a fair bit of Cleveland football over the past few years, and was always impressed with Pool, as soon as he became a FA I said we go after him, and now we have signed him. Whare are your impressions of him having seen a lot more than I have? He always came across as quite a physical guy, who had cover skills as well, kind of person who gave 100%. I saw pro football focus ranked him very highly. Any insight? you think he will mesh well in a Rex Ryan ‘fun’ atmosphere, with Revis/Cromartie and Leonhard back there.

he’s a good safety when healthy, but thats too many concussions, he should have retired.

He is solid. he makes big hits mostly out of effort. he really isn’t a true heavy hitter and isn’t great in run support. he is solid in coverage though. he has some skills but even when you look past the concussions, he never really played up to his potential. the concussions make it even more dubious. but for that small contract and for 1 year, not a bad signing.
He’s got all the talent in the world, but never really played up to his potential. At times he seems lost — especially when he was sharing the field with Sean Jones. The concussion issue is a serious one. I think most Browns fans have been resigned to the fact that he wouldn’t be here this year, and personally, I was hoping he would retire (for health reasons). So far as I remember, he was a model citizen and team mate.

Sounds like a good plan.
Walterfootball’s latest mock draft could only be termed “heroic” for Browns fans.

Al Dais would be pissed that we took the slightly faster corner ahead of him.

I have a Toughbook where the v key only works one out of every 5 times, and the spacebar is about 1 out of every two, so if you see a missing v you know I’m on the laptop.

I’m fine with that, but our offense will still suck.
