D.A. Is A Cardinal
The Cardinals are having one of the worst offseasons known to post - merger football.

Love the Rotoworld comment on this: “If the report is legit, Matt Leinart just caught a big break.”

I disagree. There’s few better in the game at going up and grabbing a jump ball than Fitz. DA can just chuck it down the field and have more confidence in a receiver going up and grabbing it than he did here.
Now, the Cardinal TEs and short-yardage receivers… that’s another story.
You are reading my signature.
Except DA doesn’t make throws that let his receiver go make a play. He throws rockets that are often not in the vicinity of the receiver.
exactly. If he was playing in dallas, he would hit the scoreboard with one of his throws.

Matt Leinart or uhhhh… Derek Anderson.
Suddenly the Brown’s QB situation doesn’t seem so bad.
(Or at the very least, this is proof it could be worse.)

could be even worse, Russel, Frye, Gradkowski anyone?

Wow!
“It’s a two-year worth up to $18.25 million, depending on games started. The minimum is $7.25 million if he’s strictly a backup.”
Just, wow…

I guess that’s the money being thrown around huh? Can’t be too surprised at what Delhomme got.
Probably the only Cleveland Browns fan in all of Sydney, NSW.
Not surprisingly, there is no media outrage over Anderson’s money, but when we sign Delhomme everyone and their mother writes a scathing article.
but we ALL know DA had a great year in ’07 and is a pro bowler…he must be worth more, right??

Yeah because he’s been to the super bowl so many more times than Delhomme.

I was trying to find media on the signing. I found this in USA Today:
Whisenhunt waved off a questions about whether Anderson might be able to surpass Anderson on the depth chart.
Knowing DA, he will not surpass "Anderso"n and will be the third string QB. Anderson cannot even beat himself.

On the contrary, Anderson has proven himself epically capable of beating himself.
Brady Quinn will never be a good quarterback for the Browns.
