Mort says only four players safe from trade
According to Chris Mortensen, only four players in Cleveland do NOT have a For Sale sign on their chest.
Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, Josh Cribbs, and Eric Wright.
I think this offseason is going to be a fun one.

can only hope.
Daddy needs a new secondary, I’m envisioning: Asomugha, Berry, Whitner, Wright.
"My signature is only one line. You're welcome."
You keep repeating this, but I can’t find one place that says Nnamdi is up for trade.

every big contract on the raiders is being shopped. They are in the same boat as the browns.
"My signature is only one line. You're welcome."
Show me one credible source that says the Raiders are listening to offers.

This is from ESPN’s Rumors page on 2/24/10
But where there’s smoke, there can be fire, and such could be the case here. NFL Insider Adam Schefter has word that the Raiders are looking to swing a trade this offseason, and Asomugha is among those that the team is open to trading.
ESPN’s Rumor Mill is a joke.
Also, I heard that Asomugha’s contract makes it almost impossible to trade him.

Yep.

not impossible, just difficult because other teams don’t want to pay him such big money. Nothing in the contract preventing a trade directly, however.
Just his contract makes it so you can’t use the franchise tag on him is all.
"My signature is only one line. You're welcome."
The contract can be reworked with the player’s cooperation. Not sure the odds of it happening with Asomugha, but it does happen frequently in the NFL. It will probably depend on his unhappiness with being in the black hole of Oakland.
If I was Nnamdi, I wouldn’t touch that deal no matter how unhappy he is.
That was a horrendous deal [for the Raiders] that is filled with guaranteed money and clauses that trip huge bonuses for Nnamdi. He will be paid something like 50 million over the next three years and be back in free agency.
His agent should win a Pulitzer for that thing.

It was a steal for the player, no doubt. But if the stories of the Raiders’ working environment are correct, perhaps it’s worth losing some money?
He says he loves it there.
BS. He does not want to lose that money.

Al Davis took him aside last year and told him he would either play nice and say everything was hunky-dory in Oakland or find himself on the receiving end of a Tom Cable Haymaker.
"My signature is only one line. You're welcome."
Is this a joke?

I saw this report and here is the rest of that note.
It is an insider article so here is the important part:
The Raiders are open to dealing multiple players on their roster, including Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. The problem is that Asomugha’s contract makes him virtually untradable.
Asomugha is scheduled to make a 100 percent guaranteed $16.59 million for the coming 2010 season.
As if that contract weren’t problematic enough in a difficult economy, Asomugha has an $8 million roster bonus that is due on the first day of the league year — next Friday [March 5th, 3 days ago] — meaning that a trade would have to be agreed to in the next 10 days and consummated before the Raiders paid that bonus. On top of that, Asomugha also has a $7.83 million option bonus due on March 19.
And what makes a potential trade for Oakland’s Pro Bowl cornerback even more difficult is that, after his contract expires following the 2011 season, Asomugha’s team is forbidden from franchising him — or it must pay him the average of the top five quarterback salaries, which this year would be $16.4 million.
Like Brad said above, this contract is unmovable. Nnamdi is a Raider for the foreseeable future, we can stop the “trade for Nnamdi” talk.
