Benjamin Watson to visit Browns on Wed.
According to PFT, it sounds like the Browns are still looking to upgrade.
Depending on the price of Watson, I would really like to bring him in. Has always had the tools, but has struggled to put it together. As long as we don't pay him like an elite TE, I am all for bringing in the talented former UGA Bulldog.

I’m not crazy about him. He showed back up in New England just in time for contract year. I have a feeling as soon as he gets a paycheck he will go back to doggin’ it.
"My signature is only one line. You're welcome."
That would be ’’’’in awesome.
If we get him now I’ll start to feel better.

Watson has always been a terrific run-blocking TE, and an inconsistent receiver. Would fit in well with Mangini’s idea of a Tight end. The guy is huge as well.
If the Browns are moving to a West Coast offense, he really doesn’t fit what that calls for. This confuses me a bit.
That’s what was said about Robert Royal (good blocking, poor catching). We ended up throwing too much to Royal.
Probably the only Cleveland Browns fan in all of Sydney, NSW.

One throw was too many to Royal.

WatsonAnyone on DBN is definitely a better pass catcher than Royal.

not sure many people remember this, but it is one of the most impressive displays of hustle i’ve ever seen. watson chases champ bailey for 100 after an INT and launches him out of the end zone. this guy definitely seems like the type of “character” guy mangini would love to have.

Awesome play.
Here is a clip that the NFLnetwork did on that play with an interview with Watson. I love how the Bronco players can’t believe a TE can run that fast.

That was epic.
