Lewin Career Forecast
Since nobody around here cares to debate about the QB prospects in Thursday's draft, I thought I'd throw this one out there and reserve my comments until people have posted.
Fun Fact! David Lewin is not a middle-aged systems analyst burnout. He can't yet drink legally, yet currently does stats work for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Interesting.
I find it odd that the two most important factors to him are completion percentage and starts. Looking back at his 2008 list, I am far from sold on his method.
But those being his only two factors are puzzling to me.
Wouldn’t these two measurements make Ken Dorsey & Carson Palmer a similar correlation?
Palmer: 45 games and 59.1 Comp
Dorsey: 41 games and 57.9 Comp
I don’t have a problem using these two stats, I have a problem using only these two stats.

I think this metric—like many others—is helpful as a guide but requires being paired with a good combination of scouting and luck in order to accurately predict anything.
