In the last two months, two of my computers have been infected. The first was about two months ago on my tower pc, which ran IE. I assumed it could have been SBN since the PC wigged out on DBN. I also assumed it was a fat chance to happen again because my ASUS Netbook ran Firefox, not IE. Not 5 miutes ago, my ASUS with Firefox was attacked by the same exact virus.
I don't think this is a coincedence. This virus has the ability to destroy registry, block internet access (firefox has the ability to bypass it's block at least) and withold downloads and computer processes. It will download porn links onto your destop and slow your processor down with pop ups every minute. It will either call itself XP Antivirus or Dr. Guard, or both. If your browser crashes and you see a page that looks like Windows Defender, inspect it! If you see the term XP Antivirus or anything from the ordinary, immediately click X or what it gives you to exit. Shut your computer down as it is almost impossible to fight unless you've already have the software Malware Bytes. I tried to download it after the virus revealed itself and it blocked the MB setup process. It overrides Norton, AVG and such and runs their uninstall program. Watch yourselves, I am 99% sure the virus comes without warning from DBN. I now have to spend over $100 for a HDD wipe most likely. Grreat.
