the big show j-man previews the 10 browns

hello Cleveland are u ready for change here the best case u pick up where u left off   u play smart  football  Jake has 1 more good year left Harrison keeps it up someone other than cribbs steps up at WR everyone jells best-case 8-8

worst case Jake is a int machine Harrison regress no one outside steps up other than cribbs  u cant rush the passer j Hayden players to his 40 time at the combine and the players tune out coach worst case  4-12
schedule a 2-0 start is possible but after that u schedule gets hard

bottom line too many new faces to compete this year but cle is on the rise as a team  j-man pick 5-11 4th  in the AFC north

its a little early, i’ll wait until after the preseason is over. but right now, i’d guess somewhere in between your 2 extreme scenarios. i’m at 6-10 or 7-9 at this point.

While he’s at it, maybe Mack could rush for a touchdown and catch a pass for a 1st down in a fake field goal situation?

I think you have offended Joe Thomas.

One correction j-man: Cribbs didn’t contribute much of anything at WR. His major contribution on offense was running the ball from under center in the wildcat and given how bad he looked when lined up wide, I’d be surprised if he ever develops into a legitimate threat at WR.

Mohammed Massaquoi was our only legitimate threat at the position, and whatever we get from our Wide Receivers will depend heavily on whether Massaquoi continues to develop or whether he regresses as a sophomore.

I usually lowball my predictions so I don’t look like a fool, but I’m predicting a 10 win season for the Browns next year. Maybe a wildcard spot.

yeah, i love that. golan, if you truly mean this, and 10 wins is lowballing, i’ve never in all my time at this site wanted a post to come true as much as this one.

To clarify:

Had I lowballed my prediction, I would have said 6. I think 8 is more likely, but I’m being the optimist this year and saying 10.

You the optimist? What’s next, TRSS being an tOSU fan?

I dunno but for some reason 7 and 9 seams to pop in my head or maybe the even nicer 9 and 7 but not to sure with the schedule. I feel a team or three on the schedule is going to under perform at least for one game that is.

Ya must have rocks in ya head to work in Iraq?
Yeah but at least mine are shiny!

He’s a fantastic player, for sure, and any hype he gets is well deserved. But he’ll never be a threat at WR.

Hey J-Dawg
I’m good with your prediction of 5-11 because our schedule is pretty tough. But did you have to say we’ll be "last" in our division? Saying "4th" seems more humane.

Who will be my role model, now that my role model is gone?
