Browns Sign WR James Robinson, Waive WR Dion Morton
In minor transaction news today, the Cleveland Browns signed WR James Robinson, according to Scout.com. Robinson signed with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent last season and spent eight weeks on their practice squad before bring waived. He also spent several weeks on the Browns practice squad before also being waived by us. To close out the year, he spent four weeks on the Washington Redskins practice squad.
Robinson is 28 years old, having spent several seasons in the Arena and Canadian Football Leagues. Robinson stands in at 6-3, 200 pounds.
In the process of making the move, undrafted free agent WR Dion Morton was waived. If you recall, Morton was "known" for being undersized compared to most NFL players at 5-8, 160 pounds.
