Gahnki's Farewell

Some of you may remember the conversation on DBN about the lack of an Ohio State blog on the SportsBlog Nation platform. Well, that's about to change. Along with the person who runs Buckeye Football Analysis and some help from another friend, I will be running the new SBN Ohio State blog. This means the retirement of gahnki, and a migration of time from DBN to the new blog. Things have been quite hectic already, with the planning and becoming acquainted with the platform architecture. We'll be launching within the next few days, so this is farewell for now. Even if you're not an Ohio State fan, stop by on the first few days and say hello. Since we're a new blog, starting up from the ground floor without a reader-base, we're going to need all the readers we can get.

You can tell by moving your cursor on it. If it’s in the subject line then you can click on it and it will collapse the comment.

Usually for images. It’s nice to be able to collapse a large image for browser speed.

Another “Did you know” is that if you want to hyperlink to a direct comment anchor, the link is associated with the date on your comment.

This is nice to know. I used to click on the profile page of the user who left the comment, and got the link that way. This is much easier.

On blogs that use the subject line, you can view the entire thread with every comment collapsed and uncollapse only those you care to read.

You could have asked SBN to change your gahnki username to Tyler T if you wanted (they did that for Ryan Kelsey and myself since we are front page writers). You may have known that already and decided to keep them separate, just thought I’d mention in case…
