Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Harrison's Preseason Fumbles Do Not Bode Well For His Starter Status
With a deep backfield, Harrison's fumbles need to stop otherwise another may start in his place.

I think Harrsion is the starter for the first 3 or 4 weeks. But I don’t think he makes the whole season getting the bulk of the carries. Hillis has earned touches, and looks to have the 3rd down and goal line packages locked up. Hardesty is going to be worked in. Davis or Jennings will be pushing too. Plus, I still have durability concerns with Harrison, even if he is effective.

Finally, an interesting scenario has been brought up by another featured columnist on Bleacher Report saying that since Harrison only signed a one-year tender he could be trade bait before the Week six deadline since the Browns seem more focused on Hardesty and Hillis over Harrison.
Interesting…not sure how I feel about that scenario and who/what do we get for him?

Player trades mid-season almost never happen.

I wouldnt be shocked to see him completely uninvolved in the running game by week 8. Hardesty and Hillis have the potential to be our future at the position (both are under 25) as well as Davis. Harrison is what he is, a guy who will flash greatness and then go back to being a bum with work ethic issues.
Add him to the list of Lee Suggs, Ben Gay, William Green, Adimchinobe Echemandu etc….

granted…a lot of what this guy has said recently has sounded a little ridiculous to me.

I heard the same thing last year when I said that Quinn would flame out. Also when I predicted after week 17 that both Anderson and Quinn would be purged from the roster this offseason.
I just wish I had known about this site prior to this offseason, I have multiple posts on other sites to back up what ive said about Quinn and Harrison.

I wouldn’t hurt your hand patting yourself on the back for your Quinn and DA predictions.
