The Cleveland Browns and St. Louis Rams meet up this Sunday. While the sports writing establishment isn't giving this game much respect, I look forward to every Rams game and I KNOW Browns fans feel the same way too.
I'm an editor at Turf Show Times. I thought it would fun to drop by to answer questions you may have about the Rams, and I know a few TSTers will be dropping by to ask you guys questions. To me, the Browns have some of the most knowledgeable, and loyal, fans in the NFL.
The Rams season hasn't turned out the way I'd hoped. It's been just south of dismal so far, and playing ANOTHER team in the toughest division in the NFL is yet another evidence that Stan Kroenke somehow pissed off Rodger Goodell. While I complain about our schedule, it kind of amazes me that I never thought about the fact that our schedule from hell is something you guys live with every year as a team in the AFC North?
What's it going to take for the Browns to take that next step up in the AFC North? You have a great offensive line, so is a guy like Trent Richardson in the 2012 NFL Draft a possibility for the Browns? Pat Shurmur had a reputation as a conservative offensive play caller. I've always been of the opinion, that while he was the Rams OC, he called plays for Sam Bradford during rookie season with high percentage short passes to help him grow into his position. Has Shurmur continued his conservative play calling, and if so what would you like to see changed?
Lots to talk about here, but before we all dive right in, I'd like to wish every Browns fan who served in the military a happy Veterans Day and thank you from a grateful group over at TST! If you have a moment, give this post a read.
So let's get to it, and please let me know if any TSTers forget they are guests here...
