Hillis Now Gametime Decision
Browns running back Peyton Hillis participated in team drills today, and coach Pat Shurmur said he is a game-time decision for Sunday's contest at Cincinnati.
Hillis took plenty of reps in practice today and is on pace to play Sunday.

From what we’ve seen, Hillis’ game effort has always been tremendous. I’m more concerned about him getting hurt again.
I hope that’s what you mean by “bust his ass”… I think it’s more like Hillis better not get his ass busted when he’s in there.

Hillis is one of the best young men I know and he is getting a bad rap about his contract. He would never not play just for a contract. He would play for free. He is an incredible player. I saw him play in high school and in the back field at Arkansas with Darren McFadden and Felix Jones. That was the greatest college back field ever.

I think his main goal this entire season has been a new contract. I highly doubt he would play for free.
