Super Bowl XLV - Official Game Thread
If you are looking for a pregame breakdown of today's Super Bowl, then check out my position-by-position review from this morning. Ben Roethlisberger will be trying to capture his third Super Bowl, while Aaron Rodgers will try to capture his first. Both teams have clutch offenses, and both teams have playmaking defenses. In a game that looks like an even battle on paper, which team will come up with that defining moment that allows them to bring home the Lombardi trophy?

Here’s to hoping the streams stay live (at decent speeds).

There is a 56 inch HDTV in the other room that will have the game on.
I’d rather (attempt to) watch a stream of it on my desktop so my interest can remain occupied.

You know who I’m jealous of? The photographers who get to be on the field. I do that for Clemson, and it’s awesome. I can’t imagine getting to be on the field for actual NFL games.
Psh. “Roethlisberger has said he wants this Super Bowl more than the other two because of all that he’s been through.”
Yeah, Ben. Your life is rough.

I’d say this is one topic that could get a little messy folks – game time I say… ;)

Did Christina Aguilera screw up the song? I swear she botched it at one part.

Just listened back, she butchered it big time I think…like a whole sentence or two.

WOOOOOOO!
And typical Steelers offsides. Truly astonishing that they called that. I’m honestly completely shocked that they called that correctly. We’ve seen it all season long.

Aaron Rogers beautiful pass.
Note to Bill Byrne "Because you aren´t Texas and you´ll never be Texas"
Maybe someday. Now that we have an offensive system I can dream. Lot of similiarities between Colt and Rogers if you think of it. Both downgraded because they are not the ideal height. Both accurate. Both mobile. But I know that Colt has a long way to go to deserve to be mentioned with Aaron.
Note to Bill Byrne "Because you aren´t Texas and you´ll never be Texas"
Rogers looks pretty tall – are they the same height? One thing is that I hope we get a set of receivers, tall and fast, for Colt like GB has.
Rodgers is 6’2"

I doubt it. But I suppose that’s a possibility.
I was under the impression someone made the decision not to list BB under there because of the flack he was getting. But that was just my guess.
