Apparently, DBN Gets Important Readers...

Check out an email I received a few days ago that I just got around to opening. It's from a Marketing Rep. from Schutt Sports!

Hey guys, I'm the Director of Marketing Communications for Schutt Sports. I just finished reading SpecialBrownie's blog today regarding helmets, concussions, technique and the NFL. I enjoyed the read and want to say "Thanks" for choosing our helmets as the best of the competition. It sounded like SpecialBrownie still had some unanswered questions regarding helmets and I wanted to reach out to see if he'd like to have a conversation some day. I'd be happy to spend some time talking helmets with him. If you have a forum-type platform on dawgsbynature.com, I'd welcome the chance to talk with all your fans and contributors. There is no such thing as a concussion proof helmet. There are just too many factors that cause concussions for helmets to be able to prevent them all. But the one factor that helmets CAN do something about is impact. Helmets can reduce the impact on a player's head and our helmets, as SB instinctively understood, do a dramatically better job of absorbing impact in game-like conditions. Anyway... thanks again for the shout out and let me know if you're interested in diving a little bit deeper into this. You can reach me by email at: gbeckmann@schutt-sports.com

I just wanted to share and thought it was pretty awesome to get some recognition from one of the companies of the helmets I reviewed in an earlier fanpost I wrote. He says if you have more questions, feel free to email him.

IT WAS SO COOL TO GET THIS EMAIL! =D
