First it was Ray Rice. Then it was Matt Ryan. This past week, it was Jamaal Charles, as Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis had 60% of the votes in the head-to-head matchup against him in the tournament to determine who will be on the cover of Madden 12.
This week, Hillis faces Aaron Rodgers in the semi-finals. Rodgers defeated Danny Woodhead this past week, but Rodgers only had 56% of the votes. Based on this article, Hillis is dominating the early Madden vote against Rodgers, which would be a shocking upset in the tournament:
Led by an online campaign that includes front page treatment on ClevelandBrowns.com, as well as ongoing Twitter and Facebook campaigns by his team, Peyton Hillis has jumped out to a shockingly large lead over Aaron Rodgers in the "Madden NFL 12" cover vote.
Even if Hillis beats Rodgers, it might be tough in the finals. Adrian Peterson and Michael Vick have been easily defeating their opponents, and they square off this week.
