Results of DBN Mock Draft Picks
Before the draft, 12 users of the Dawgs By Nature community submitted their own mock drafts as a "contest" of sorts. I went off the scoring system that The Huddle Report uses, where you get 1 point if the player you picked was drafted at least somewhere in the first round, and you get an additional 2 points if you matched that player with the team that chose them. The results are after the jump...
- 39 points: FatmanCometh, golanbatrac, Chris Pokorny
- 38 points: Bernie19Kosar, MWP333
- 37 points: rufio
- 35 points: Browns town, clefan4lif
- 34 points: crazyL80
- 33 points: HenryDawg
- 32 points: twotondawg
- 31 points: Vezoma
Thanks to everyone who participated. It is very possible that I made errors since there were a lot of picks to go through and it was difficult to match things up with all of the trades that occurred. For example, the Saints ended up having two first round picks -- people who mocked him to the Saints the first time around still got the full 3 points for him. To see everyone's picks and scores together, here is the Excel file I made.
Unfortunately, no one came close to beating Rick Gosselin's score of 53.

I demand a recount. How did Golan tie for the lead – he had Cam Jordan going in the top 6?

I have a feeling you are going to be the only person who feels good about the Ponder call in a few years.

About the same as if you would have predicted.

This made me laugh pretty hard.
